An Act To Increase Financial Assets of Maine Citizens by Allowing Split Tax Refunds
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
Sec. 1. 36 MRSA §5280-A is enacted to read:
§ 5280-A. Payment of refund
Upon request by an individual who is entitled to a refund under this Part, the assessor shall make payment of the refund into up to 3 accounts at one or more financial institutions.
