Sec. 1. Department of Education to replace Maine Education Assessment examinations.
Resolved: That the Department of Education, pursuant to the Maine
Revised Statutes, Title 20-A, section 6211, shall develop a more
appropriate examination to replace the current examination under
the Maine Education Assessment program in Title 20-A, chapter 222
and the intermediate grade level assessment given pursuant to the
federal No Child Left Behind Act of 2001.

 
SUMMARY

 
This resolve directs the Department of Education to develop a
more appropriate examination to replace the current examination
under the Maine Education Assessment program and the intermediate
grade level assessment given pursuant to the federal No Child
Left Behind Act of 2001.
