Sec. 2. Report. Resolved: That the Commissioner of Economic and Community Development and the Maine Creative Economy Council shall submit a report that includes their findings and recommendations, including suggested legislation, to the Joint Standing Committee on Business, Research and Economic Development no later than December 7, 2005. After receipt and review of the report, the Joint Standing Committee on Business, Research and Economic Development may report out a bill to the Second Regular Session of the 122nd Legislature.

SUMMARY

This resolve directs the Commissioner of Economic and Community Development and the Maine Creative Economy Council to study ways to further the economic development of artists, craftspeople, musicians and people conducting other creative activities.
