Sec. 1. Wild turkey; fall season change. Resolved: That the Commissioner of
Inland Fisheries and Wildlife shall establish the fall open
season for hunting wild turkeys so that it begins and ends one
week earlier than is scheduled so that parents and schoolchildren
may participate in the turkey hunt on the long Columbus Day
holiday weekend without conflicting with school schedules.

 
SUMMARY

 
This resolve directs the Commissioner of Inland Fisheries and
Wildlife to begin the fall wild turkey hunting season one week
earlier and to end it one week earlier than is currently
scheduled, so that the season ties in with the long Columbus Day
weekend.
