Sec. 1. Use of adjustable warning signs. Resolved: That the Department of
Transportation shall use adjustable traffic warning signs. The
signs, which must comply with the department's standards for
"STOP" or "SLOW" signs, must be used at all Department of
Transportation road construction sites in the interest of road
safety. The signs must allow a worker to switch warning messages
to "SLOW" or "STOP" as required by the situation at the site.

 
SUMMARY

 
This resolve directs the Department of Transportation to
institute the use of adjustable warning signs that have
changeable messages of "SLOW" and "STOP" at road construction
sites.
