| | | This bill is a concept draft pursuant to Joint Rule 208. |

| | | This bill proposes to provide incentives to businesses that | | move into existing vacant buildings instead of constructing new | | buildings. Incentives would include, but not be limited to: |
|
| | | 1. Expedited approval of zoning or other local ordinance | | changes necessary for the business to occupy the building; and |
|
| | | 2. Tax incentives, such as a reduced property tax rate. |
