Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
CONCEPT DRAFT
SUMMARY
This bill is a concept draft pursuant to Joint Rule 208.
This bill would allow for alternative methods of signing
petitions, voter registration cards and marking ballots by voters
with disabilities who face manual dexterity or other challenges.
Ideas for alternative means of signing important election-related
documents include use of stamps, witness verification and
surrogate signatures.
