| | | Sec. 1. 9-A MRSA §8-306 is enacted to read: |

| | | §8-306.__Required information on credit card |

| | | After January 1, 2010, a credit card may not be issued to a | | cardholder who resides in this State unless the photograph and | | signature of the cardholder are displayed on the card. |

| | | This bill requires that credit cards issued after January 1, | | 2010 to cardholders who reside in Maine contain the photographs | | and signatures of the cardholders. |
