Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
Sec. 1. Road maintenance; Clark's Cove Road.
The Department of
Transportation is responsible for the maintenance of the
section of Clark's Cove Road commencing at the intersection of
Route 129 and Clark's Cove Road and continuing to the entrance
of the Darling Marine Center.
SUMMARY
This bill requires the Department of Transportation to
maintain an approximately one-mile stretch of road leading to
the entrance of the Darling Marine Center, the marine
laboratory of the University of Maine. Currently the road is
maintained by the Town of South Bristol.
