| | | Sec. 1. 26 MRSA §1191, sub-§10 is enacted to read: |

| | | 10.__Information.__For an individual receiving benefits | | under this section, the commissioner shall ensure that | | information concerning the amount and duration of the benefit | | payments is provided over the telephone upon inquiry by the | | individual. |

| | | This bill requires the Department of Labor to provide | | information concerning the amount and duration of unemployment | | benefit payments over the telephone upon inquiry of the person | | receiving the benefits. |
