Resolved: That by January 1, 2004 the Department of | | Environmental Protection shall establish rules for dental | | offices and other places where mercury amalgam fillings are | | prepared, used, removed, replaced or repaired relative to the | | use of environmentally appropriate disposal equipment for | | amalgam waste to trap and dispose of mercury. Rules adopted | | pursuant to this resolve are major substantive rules as | | defined in the Maine Revised Statutes, Title 5, chapter 375, | | subchapter 2-A. |
