| This bill limits state aid for special education students to |
| the maximum percentage of subsidizable special education students |
| established annually by the Commissioner of Education for each |
| school administrative unit. The maximum limits established by |
| the commissioner must be calculated based on the pupil counts |
| determined for school administrative units for calculating |
| operating costs in the school funding formula. |
