| This bill allows the Public Utilities Commission to designate |
| as confidential information about public utility operations and |
| facilities the public release of which may harm the public |
| interest and to share that information with state agencies such |
| as the Maine Emergency Management Agency in the Department of |
| Defense, Veterans and Emergency Management, the Department of |
| Public Safety and the State Planning Office. |
