| | | Sec. 1. 10 MRSA c. 207-A is enacted to read: |

| | | §1257.__Requirements for consignment sales |
|
| | | A person who receives goods for sale on consignment shall | | provide the following to the person who consigns these goods for | | sale: |
|
| | | 1.__Itemized receipt.__An itemized receipt of the goods | | consigned for sale; and |
|
| | | 2.__Copies of receipts of sales of goods.__Copies of the | | receipts of the sales of the goods consigned for sale. |
|
| | | This bill requires a person who receives goods for sale on | | consignment to provide an itemized receipt of these goods and | | copies of the receipts of the sales of these goods to the person | | who consigns them. |
