Sec. 13. 34-B MRSA §5203, sub-§3, as amended by PL 1995, c. 560, Pt.
K, §50, is repealed.

 
Sec. 14. 34-B MRSA c. 5, sub-c. III, as amended, is further amended by
repealing the headnote and inserting in its place the following:

 
SUBCHAPTER III

 
SERVICES FOR PERSONS WITH MENTAL RETARDATION OR AUTISM

 
Sec. 15. 34-B MRSA c. 5, sub-c. III, Art. I, as amended, is further amended
by repealing the headnote and inserting in its place the
following:

 
Article I

 
State-operated Facilities for Persons

 
with Mental Retardation or Autism

 
Sec. 16. 34-B MRSA §5401, first ¶, as amended by PL 1995, c. 550, §3,
is further amended to read:

 
The department shall maintain the following residential
facilities for the care and treatment of mentally retarded
persons with mental retardation or autism:

 
Sec. 17. 34-B MRSA §5403, sub-§1, as enacted by PL 1983, c. 459, §7,
is amended to read:

 
1. Establishment. There is established the The Aroostook
Residential Center at Presque Isle in Aroostook County, which: is
established in the Town of Presque Isle as a facility to provide
support for persons with mental retardation or autism.

 
A. Shall be maintained for the training, education,
treatment and care of persons who are mentally retarded; and

 
B. May provide living accommodations for mentally retarded
persons in order that they may attend educational and
training programs.

 
Sec. 18. 34-B MRSA §5403, sub-§2, ¶C, as enacted by PL 1983, c. 459,
§7, is amended to read:
