An Act Relative to Insurance Compliance Self-audit

Item 1
The superintendent is required to maintain the confidentiality
of information protected under this subchapter, subject to the
specific exceptions set forth in section 493 and 496.
SUMMARY
This bill encourages insurers to engage in self-auditing
functions to facilitate compliance with the Maine Insurance Code.
