| | | Appropriates funds to be | | provided as grants to the 16 | | local soil and water | | conservation districts across | | the State. These funds will be | | used for operating costs to | | better enable the districts to | | respond effectively to local | | conservation needs. |

| | | This bill appropriates $800,000 to the Department of | | Agriculture, Food and Rural Resources in each of fiscal years | | 1999-00 and 2000-01. These funds are to be provided as grants to | | the 16 local soil and water conservation districts across the | | State. These funds will be used for operating costs to better | | enable the districts to respond effectively to local | | conservation needs. |
