§1432. Administration of medication
The administration of medication in state institutions shall be in accordance with rules established by the State Board of Nursing.

                                Maine Administrative Procedure Act. 
                                The State Board of Nursing shall establish rules in accordance with the Maine Administrative Procedure Act, Title 5, chapter 375.

                                Considerations. 
                                In establishing rules for each type of state institution, the State Board of Nursing shall consider, among other factors:
                                     
                                
                
                  A.
                                        The general health of the persons likely to receive medication;

                                        The number of persons served by the institution; and

                                        The number of persons employed at the institution.
