|
The Department of
Health and Human Services will require General Fund appropriations of
$122,877 in fiscal year 2025-26 and $111,561 in fiscal year 2026-27 to
implement the provisions of the bill. This includes ongoing funding for one
Environmental Specialist III position to implement rule-making, outreach and
education related to well water testing requirements for landlords and
one-time funding of $16,000 in fiscal year 2025-26 to create brochures
adding perfluoroalkyl and
polyfluoroalkyl substances to the uniform recommendation for testing private
drinking water wells. |
