Fiscal Detail and Notes
The Department of Health and Human Services will require General Fund appropriations of $1,144,815 in fiscal year 2021-22 and $6,516,631 in fiscal year 2022-23 for the net costs of providing MaineCare coverage for additional preventive oral health services for MaineCare-eligible adults 21 years of age and older beginning April 1, 2022 and to develop a public education campaign. Federal Expenditures Fund allocations will also be required for the FMAP match.
