Fiscal Detail and Notes
This bill includes ongoing Other Special Revenue Funds allocations of $8,500 per year beginning in fiscal year 2021-22 to the Licensing and Enforcement program within the Department of Professional and Financial Services for the costs associated with joining and participating in the Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact.  The State Board of Examiners of Psychologists has sufficient revenue to support these costs without raising fees.  There is a potential that the board may see a decrease in revenue from licensing fees if participation in the compact results in fewer applications for a Maine license.
