Fiscal Detail and Notes
The bill includes General Fund appropriations to the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) of $5,457,411 in fiscal year 2021-22 and $10,631,464 in fiscal year 2022-23 due to adjustment of the eligibility requirements and elimination of premiums in the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) for the DHHS to contract for outreach activities and for required technology changes. Other Special Revenue Funds, Federal Expenditures Fund and Federal Block Grant Fund allocations will also be required for the FMAP match.
