Fiscal Detail and Notes
The Regulation and Enforcement program within the Department of Labor will require General Fund appropriations of $46,467 in fiscal year 2015-16 and $54,972 in fiscal year 2016-17 for one half-time Labor and Safety Inspector position and related All Other costs associated with the additional assistant attorney general time, travel, publications, outreach and education necessary to implement the requirements of this legislation.
The Judicial Department will require General Fund appropriations of $153,245 in fiscal year 2015-16 and $182,343 in fiscal year 2016-17 for one part-time Superior Court Judge position, one Deputy Marshall position and one part-time Assistant Clerk position and related costs to handle the expected increase in new cases. This preliminary fiscal impact statement assumes an effective date of October 1, 2015.
