	The General Purpose Aid for Local Schools program within the Department of Education will require additional ongoing General Fund appropriations beginning in fiscal year 2011-12 for the costs associated with extending the salary supplement that is currently provided to public school teachers who have attained certification from the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards to include teachers at publicly supported secondary schools, which includes certain private secondary schools that enroll 60% or more publicly funded students.  The amount can not be determined at this time and will depend on the number of additional teachers that attain the certification.
