| The Department of Conservation will require a General Fund appropriation of $84,596 in fiscal year 2010-11 for two part-time seasonal Forest Ranger II positions, dumpsters, kiosk and disposal bags and related All Other costs to monitor and enforce the provisions of the bill. | ||||||
| The Department has indicated that it has received verbal approval for a federal grant for a two year demonstration project to evaluate the effectiveness of a prohibition on bringing firewood into the State. If this federal grant is ultimately received, $64,000 could be used to cover a portion of these costs during fiscal year 2010-11 and 2011-12. | ||||||
