Fiscal Detail and Notes
This bill abolishes the Fund for the Efficient Delivery of Local and Regional Services, resulting in a General Fund revenue loss of $2,208,854 in fiscal year 2009-10 and $2,301,330 in fiscal year 2010-11. This bill will require an Other Special Revenue Funds deallocation of $500,000 annually from the Fund for the Efficient Delivery of Local and Regional Services.  Further, the bill directs money that would have been deposited into this fund to be deposited in the Municipal Investment Trust Fund resulting in an increase of $2,508,854 in Fiscal Year 2009-10 and $2,801,330 in fiscal year 2010-11.   This estimate assumes a July 1, 2009 effective date rather than October 1, 2009 in order to reflect annual amounts.  The Governor's proposed budget for the 2010-2011 biennium, LD 353, includes changes to the Fund for the Efficient Delivery of Local and Regional Services that will effect this estimate.
