| The amendment requires the Department of Health and Human Services, as resources permit, to work with the area agencies on aging to identify federal or other appropriate funding to provide services through the aging and disability resource centers. The amendment also removes the appropriations for aging and disability resources centers and for the priority social services program that provides reimbursement for the costs of volunteers for the delivery of meals and medical rides for consumers of long-term care services, leaving minor costs to be absorbed through existing budgeted resources. The fiscal note reflects the incremental fiscal impact of the amendment. | ||||||
