Fiscal Detail and Notes
Eliminating the transfer of funds from the Fund for the Efficient Delivery of Local and Regional Services to the General Fund will reduce General Fund revenue by $2,208,854 in fiscal year 2009-10 and $2,301,330 in fiscal year 2010-11. This bill will also increase Other Special Revenue Funds within the Fund for the Efficient Delivery of Local and Regional Services by $854,427 in fiscal year 2009-10 and $900,665 and Other Special Revenue Funds for State - Municipal Revenue Sharing by $1,354,427 in fiscal year 2009-10 and $1,400,665 in fiscal year 2010-11.  This estimate assumes a July 1, 2009 effective date.  The Governor's proposed budget for the 2010-2011 biennium, LD 353, includes changes to the Fund for the Efficient Delivery of Local and Regional Services that will effect this estimate of fiscal impact. The amounts transferred to Municipal Revenue Sharing will affect the amount distributed to municipalities.  Additional costs to the Office of the State Treasurer can be absorbed within existing budgeted resources.
