| This bill requires the assessments on each transmission and distribution utility to increase from not to exceed 0.005 to not to exceed 0.01 cent per kilowatt-hour. This increase in assessments will increase Other Special Revenue Funds by $500,000 to be deposited into the Solar and Wind Energy Rebate Program. All monies collected in the Solar and Wind Energy Rebate Program will be rebated under the guidelines of the program. The Solar and Wind Energy Rebate Program sunset clause of December 31, 2010 is eliminated by this bill. | ||||||
