Sec. 1. Public Utilities Commission to Study the Feasibility of the Merger of Certain Utilities. Resolved: That the Public Utilities Commission shall study the feasibility of the merger of the Maine Public Service Company with New Brunswick Power. The Public Utilities Commission shall submit a report of the results of the study to the Joint Standing Committee on Utilities and Energy by December 2, 2009.
