| This act requires that individuals with aquaculture leases on which molluscan bivalve shellfish is grown must hold a harvester license in order to remove, possess, transport and sell cultured shellfish. By Department of Marine Resources policy such indiviuals are already encouraged to hold this license and, according to the Department, most do. Therefore, any potential revenue increase associated with license fees would be minimal. | ||||||
