Fiscal Detail and Notes
	The Department of Conservation will require additional General Fund appropriations of $4,400  and $1,400 in fiscal years 2007-08 and 2008-09, respectively,  to cover the costs of rulemaking, public notification and disbursement of funds pertaining to the establishment of the Saco River Preservation Fund.  In addition, the establishment of certain permit fees will generate dedicated revenue for the newly established Saco River Preservation Fund within the Department of Conservation; the estimated amounts are $24,380 in fiscal year 2007-08 and $32,500 in each fiscal year thereafter.
