| The bill causes attorneys to choose between being guardians ad litem and divorce (custody) lawyers in the same court jurisdiction. To the extent attorneys decide to keep their practices and only be guardians in a more distant court jurisdiction this legislation could result in additional charges to the Judicial Department attributable to increased travel time and expenses. | ||||||
