| This legislation will require a General Fund appropriation to the State Planning Office within the Executive Department of $120,000 in fiscal year 2007-08, $124,200 in fiscal year 2008-09, $128,547 in fiscal year 2009-10 and $133,046 in fiscal year 2010-11 to provide funds for two GIS Coordinator positions to work on an ongoing basis to develop and maintain a database containing information on conservation and recreation easements on public and private land. Two positions may take a number of years to research and cover the entire state. If the intent of the bill is to complete statewide coverage in the first year of effort the number of positions may need to be increased substantially. | ||||||
