Correctional and Judicial Impact Statements
Establishes a new Class D crime.
The additional workload, administrative costs and indigent defense costs associated with a minimal number of new cases filed in the court sysytem can be absorbed within the budgeted resources of the Judicial department.  The collection of additional fines may also increase General Fund revenue by minor amounts.
Fiscal Detail and Notes
The establishment of renewal fees for licensed slot machine distributors and registered slot machines will result in increased General Fund revenue in the amounts of $272,500 in fiscal year 2006-07 and $325,000 for each fiscal year thereafter.
