State's budget includes sufficient funds to accommodate one ballot of average
length for the general election in November. If the number or size of the
referendum questions increases the ballot length, an additional appropriation
of $8,000 or more may be required. A
special election would require an additional appropriation of $121,392. |

Directing
the Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife to coordinate and facilitate
salmon and brook trout habitat restoration efforts will necessitate
additional General Fund appropriations to the department in the amounts of
$66,614 and $80,259 in fiscal years 2005-06 and 2006-07, respectively, for
the costs of one additional Biologist I position and associated operating
costs. |
