| The University of Maine System and the Maine Community College System will require on-going General Fund appropriations totaling $1,735,000 beginning in fiscal year 2005-06 for the costs associated with developing an entrepreneurship curriculum to be implemented at all campuses and for the Maine Community College System to implement a statewide entrepreneurship training program. | |||||||||
| This bill includes ongoing General Fund appropriations of $185,000 beginning in fiscal year 2005-06 for the Maine Community College System to provide an entreprenueurship training program at all of its campuses throughout the State. Additional costs to the Community College System to develop an entrepreneurship curriculum to be implemented at all of its campuses can be absorbed utilizing existing budgeted resources. | |||||||||
| The University of Maine System will require additional General Fund appropriations of $1,550,000 beginning in fiscal year 2005-06 to establish and operate academic programs in entrepreneurship at all of its campuses as well as to provide outreach programs statewide. | |||||||||
| Additional costs to the Department of Education to include entrepreneurship education principles in the next review of the system of learning results can be absorbed utilizing existing budgeted resources. | |||||||||
