| This bill will require a General Fund appropriation to the Department of Corrections of $608,115 in fiscal year 2005-06 and $828,472 in fiscal year 2006-07. This appropriation will provide funds for 10 additional positions and general operating expenses to assist in meeting periodic review requirements set forth in the bill. In addition, the Judicial Department will require a General Fund appropriation of $275,790 in fiscal year 2005-06 and $368,126 in fiscal year 2006-07. This appropriation will provide funds for additional staff costs associated with an estimated 300 additional juvenile hearings. | |||||||||
