| Increasing the cigarette tax by 4 cents is expected to increase General Fund revenue by $2,062,391 in fiscal year 2005-06 and $3,209,834 in fiscal year 2006-07. This bill also provides General Fund appropriations of $1,750,000 in fiscal year 2005-06 and $3,000,000 in fiscal year 2006-07 to the Bureau of Health within the Department of Health and Human Services to provide grants to federally qualified health centers and federal Indian Health Service-supported centers. | |||||||||
