| As presently drafted, this bill appears to require that the Department of the Secretary of State will have the same set of responsibilities for accidents involving operators of snowmobiles and ATVs as it currently does for accidents involving motorists. If the department is made responsible for this new category of accidents, the department will incur significant additional Highway Fund costs to administer this new responsibility; the amounts can not be determined at this time. | |||||||||
