| The Enforcement Operations - IFW program within the Department of Inland Fisheries & Wildlife will require additional Other Special Revenue allocations in the amounts of $76,897 and $72,976 in fiscal years 2005-06 and 2006-07, respectively, to cover the costs of one additional Game Warden position to be located in the Sebago Lakes region. However, the specified funding source for this position, the Lake and River Protection Fund, is currently supporting 5 Game Warden positions and does not have adequate resources to support an additional position. Therefore, the required hiring of this additional position will necessitate the layoff of one of the existing positions to obtain the necessary resources to cover the cost of the newly mandated position. | ||||||
