Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
CONCEPT DRAFT
SUMMARY
This bill is a concept draft pursuant to Joint Rule 208.
This bill proposes to provide the Maine State Housing
Authority bonding authority to enable the purchase of heating oil
in bulk from qualified vendors, at a discount, for persons who
are eligible to receive assistance from the federal Low-Income
Home Energy Assistance Program in advance of receipt of federal
funds for that heating oil.
