Sec. 1. Regional recreation center. Resolved: That the Director of the
Bureau of Parks and Lands within the Department of Conservation
working together with liaisons from several communities in
western Hancock County shall develop a plan to create a regional
recreation center in the Town of Blue Hill. The Director of the
Bureau of Parks and Lands shall report the bureau's findings to
the Joint Standing Committee on Agriculture, Conservation and
Forestry by January 15, 2006. The Joint Standing Committee on
Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry may report out legislation
to the Second Regular Session of the 122nd Legislature regarding
the development of a regional recreation center in the Town of
Blue Hill.

 
SUMMARY

 
This resolve directs the Director of the Bureau of Parks and
Lands within the Department of Conservation together with
liaisons from several communities in western Hancock County to
develop a plan to create a regional recreation center in the Town
of Blue Hill. The director shall submit a report to the Joint
Standing Committee on Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry by
January 15, 2006.
