| *Sec. 1-A. Service to additional customer. Notwithstanding the territorial |
| limitations of the district, upon written petition from Timothy |
| Gousse of the Town of Chelsea, the district shall extend service |
| to supply water to the residence of Timothy Gousse. To the |
| extent necessary to provide service to this property, except as |
| otherwise provided by law, the district may lay, maintain, repair |
| and replace pipes, mains and other fixtures and appurtenances in, |
| along and through the streets, roads, ways, highways, bridges, |
| tidal waters, lakes, ponds, rivers and water courses in the |
| district and the Town of Chelsea. When the district lays, |
| maintains, repairs or replaces any fixtures or appurtenances in |
| any street, road, way or highway pursuant to this section, it |
| shall do so with as little obstruction as practicable to public |
| travel. At its own expense and without unnecessary delay, the |
| district shall replace in proper condition the earth and pavement |
| removed by it. The costs of extending and providing service |
| under this section must be apportioned and assessed in the same |
| manner as the extension and provision of service to persons |
| located within the territory of the district. |
