| As amended, this bill includes Other Special Revenue Funds allocations for the Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife for the costs of buying workers compensation coverage for search and rescue workers; the amounts are $8,000 beginning in fiscal year 2003-04. The department will be billing the Maine Emergency Management Agency within the Department of Defense, Veterans and Emergency Management for the costs of the workers compensation coverage. The Maine Emergency Management Agency will be using the proceeds of certain federal grants to pay this allowable expense. | |||||||
