| The Secretary of State's budget includes sufficient funds to accommodate one ballot of average length for the general election in November. If the number or size of the referendum questions increases the ballot length, an additional appropriation of $8,000 or more may be required. | |||||||

| If approved by the voters, this bill will result in a reduction of General Fund revenue due to the proposed transfer of two per cent of General Fund revenue monthly to the Budget Stabilization and Endowmnent Fund. This loss of General Fund revenue will be partially offset by the 4 % or more of the Budget Stabilization and Endowment Fund that will be transferred back to the General Fund to be appropriated annually for expenditures by the Legislature. | |||||||
