	The fiscal impact of this bill on the General Purpose Aid for Local Schools program within the Department of Education is approximately $5,040,000 in fiscal year 2003-04.  This estimate is based on the proposed funding level for General Purpose Aid for Local Schools in the Governor's proposed Current Services budget for the 2004-2005 biennium.  According to the Department of Education, approximately 50 school administrative units would receive additional State subsidy ranging from $16.00 to $2.4 million.  The fiscal impact in fiscal year 2004-05 cannot be determined at this time.
