Fiscal Detail and Notes
This bill may increase the up-front construction costs for new and renovated school buildings in order to achieve the 20% gain in energy efficiency.  It is anticipated that savings in school operating costs for local school administrative units may occur over time as a result of this measure.  Both the amount of additional up-front costs and the long-term savings can not be determined at this time.
