| A General Fund appropriation will be required to fund the per diem and general operating expenses of the Commission to Improve Community Safety and Sex Offender Accountability. This bill also authorizes the commission to accept funds to advance its work. This authorization may result in the collection of Other Special Revenue funds in fiscal year 2003-04. A base allocation of $500 in fical year 2003-04 should be amended to the bill to authorize expenditures from this dedicated revenue. The additional costs associated with serving on the commission can be absorbed by the Department of Corrections, the Department of Public Safety and the Office of the Attorney General. | |||||||
