| Fiscal Detail and Notes | |||||||
| Setting a limit on certain overweight truck fines will decrease Highway Fund revenue by $5,045 and by $6,727 in fiscal years 2003-04 and 2004-05, respectively. In addition, the Department of Transportation estimates that accelerated pavement damage will occur from more overweight trucks and that the cost of repairing this damage could be as much as $8,400,000 to the Highway Fund each year; the exact cost can not be determined at this time. | |||||||
